Click on read more to update your phone
Update: One major bug I’ve come across with both the Beta-DACH and Retail EU versions is, that when using the headset and you unplug it while calling someone, the music starts playing. On Motorola support forums other people say that it also happens on other occasions too, when disconnecting the headset.Sorry, i’m lazy tonight, so i won’t go into much detail, thou it’s easy ->
Preq:
- Download the 2.01 DACH SBF from And-Developers
- Download RSDLite from the same page
- Backup your data / files! from the phone
- Flash the 2.01 DACH SBF. If you’re having trouble german manual here
Updating:
- Download the 2.01 to 2.1 update.zip from Android-Hilfe.de
- rename it update.zip
- Copy it to your /sdcard/ root
- reboot phone in recovery mode (for those who missed the last class -> Shut down -> Press power and Camera button at the same time Til you see /!\ Press volume up + camera )
- Select update.zip with your d-pad and update.
- Reboot may take a while, but after it’s done, you can open the champaign, since your phone now has Android 2.1 ; )
Enjoy your 2.1 Stone : )
Oh fun fact before i forget -> The DROiD version has been pulled for now. For once we’re ahead of North America.
The Complicated solution is to use ADBRecovery (nandroid backup) and install the EU update , not the German DACH update
